Although Microsoft’s Photosynth has been around for a number of years now, what they have done for the inauguration is truly spectacular.  I first saw Photosynth demoed at TED by Blaise Aguera y Arcas back in March of 2007 and was blown away by Microsoft’s photo stitching tool.  Leveraging the excitement and energy of the inauguration, Microsoft and CNN have really created something magical with Photosynth.  Head over to CNN’s The Moment page and check it out… You may need to install SilverLight if you haven’t already…then get in there and play around with the 1000′s of photos that now present an interesting and enaging view of the inauguration.
