Beyond just the coolness of the video, I was really taken with the story behind it. 

The core of the project is Christopher Rehage’s website “http://www.thelongestway.com/” where he has posted an extensive travel diary, starting from day 1 (Nov 9th 2007) and describing every single day until the end one year later.
